Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I'm looking for Win 7 Ultimate , full version... I have seen OEM packages but I've heard that better deals are possible.

I'm not sure if this is the lowest one, but I bought WIN7 Ultimate 64 bit for $171
this is full version in flat paper box...looks like a promotional package but it works fine, cost less and it's legal

The only difference between a full version and OEM is how they are packaged, nonetheless they are about the same. Only that you are paying less for the OEM. However, some vendors don't sell the OEM without a machine but there are others that do.

Go with the OEM but don't be surprised if it comes in a flat paper envelope.
