Hello,
I have HP monitor, model w2338h and I want to connect it with HDMI cable to my HP laptop. The problem is that colors ...blacks to be exact are washed out and I can't calibrate it at all. Maybe monitor is defective? Any ideas? |

I have the same monitor in my office. I use it with HDX18 laptop from HP. I had same issue, but when I used VGA cable, everything was fine. Not sure why but HDMI cable doesn't realy work good for laptop connection (not sure why).
But Xbox 360 via HDMI look great

i believe it is not that model people are having problems with. I heard some HP monitors with HDMI connections are getting the same issues. Maybe try updating the driver. Visiting HP's support site might help too.
