In my experience, laptops are one of those things in life you shouldn't cheap out on. Unless you like sitting and waiting for the laptop to respond...

I had a cheap laptop and I was not satisfied with it. A Sony Vaio for example equals an Acer and an HP together. Think when you buy something. Nothing good is cheap

You can find some interesting models on ChinaBuye's website. Have you ever considered buying a netbook? Traveling with it is much more comfortable, because it's small and handy. I know how exhausting walking with the laptop in your bag can be.

I think you shouldn't try to save money in this case. In computer things quality has a quite high price... but at least you can be sure that it won't fail from a day to another

Like what they said, "you'll always get what you pay for". Laptop is an investment and frequent trips to a service center is just annoying and could be more expensive than what you have paid for the laptop.
