I love Panasonic. I had at least 5 different models during last few years. Great colors / features.
First one I bought was EDTV ...it was 9 years ago... it still working, but I gave it away. With your budget you can buy nice plasma... especially that Panasonic have some special on their site. Plenty of discount to choose from. You can ask in your local store if they do price matching and print out the best deal you can find. As far as model, personally I like 54" Viera TC-P54S1 ![]() well priced... you should be able to get one for $1,500~1,700 |

Plasma's are a good investment...regardless of what some uninformed people say..Brand does make a difference though. Panasonic is the best, followed closely by Samsung and Sanyo

I would recommend a Plasma flat screen tv because all the models (no matter what is your favorite brand) comes out like that now. The old style of television with the bulky screen is no where to be found except Goodwill. However, if you are looking for a brand new set, you have no choice but to buy one of these television sets.
Sony HDTV It's Great...

I think that Panasonic TX-P42G20 Plasma TV would meet all your expectations. And it's within your price range. I can highly recommend this one.
