Not only will it save you a lot of money on your electric bill in the long run, but in these times we all need to do our part to help the environment, and with something as simple as choosing a different tv type... it's just irresponsible not to. However, until I saw this, I had no idea... perhaps there should be more information circulated regarding the power consumption of various devices.
